Venue Description: Unique and diverse. 61 is one of a kind in that it is one of the few warehouse style arena that still runs as an underground venue. It lends its space to a huge number of different promoters and performers which ensures that there's always something new and changing to be explored. Because of this, the venue caters to a broader spectrum of people giving them more choice of what they wish to see. We aren't licensed but welcome BYO for alcohol only - our lovely bar-kids run our lovely beverage bar. Dr Rod sells food 4 the hungry (recommended is his Chai Tea!). We have pool. We have fun. We have games. We have security. A cloak room. Comfy couches, pillows and several floors. Bathrooms and groovy lights, visuals, & many other weird & wondrous things. Regular Events: The usual My Place on Sunday morning from 7am till 12noon or beyond is the only choice for a Sunday morning recovery.
Music Styles: There is no formula and there are no rules. Acid/doof/hardhouse/ambient/electronica/breaks/psytrance/percussive/beats/drum'n'bass/techno/hardtrance/jungle/chillout/funk/live pa/experimental/dark/minimal/tribal/layered/andi'mrunningoutofspace Pick any given night, and you'll have a flavour. The only preference is for music that's good music - whatever its bent.

Future direction is someplace forward into tomorrow. 61 embraces all aspects of the dance music scene, and will continue to do so.
