Eine ganze Stadt voller glücklicher Gesichter: Auch die neunte electric city am vergangenen Freitag in Koblenz zeigte, wie vital und vielfltig die Clubszene ist. Bei der „leading clubnight in town“ trafen „Feierveteranen“ auf Club-Neulinge und „Houser“ auf Hardtechno-Freunde – insgesamt über 5.000, und sie waren ausgelassen, frhlich und friedlich. 33 DJs und LiveActs aus Deutschland und Europa begeisterten bis in den frühen Samstagmorgen.

3.600 feierten in der Mannheimer Maimarkthalle die Premiere des neuen Harder Styles-Festivals Letzten Samstag drangen ungewhnlich harte Klnge aus der Mannheimer Maimarkthalle: TOXICATOR, das neue Festival für Hardstyle, Hardcore und Hardtechno, feierte mit 3.600 Besuchern eine absolut gelungene Premiere. 19 DJs und LiveActs brachten erstmals harte elektronische Musik in dieser Grenordnung in den südwestdeutschen Deutschlands.

Nach dem Boom Mitte der 1990er Jahre schien elektronischer Hardcore tot. Auerhalb des Ruhrgebiets und der Niederlande existierten kaum noch Veranstaltungen, die sich vllig den hrtesten Styles elektronischer Musik verschrieben. Damit ist Schluss. TOXICATOR übernimmt am 7. November in der Mannheimer Maimarkthalle, mit dem Besten was Hardcore, Hardstyle und Hardtechno zu bieten haben, eine musikalische Vorreiterrolle im Rhein- Neckar-Raum.
