DARRELL 'Mr Music' PRYOR LIvF€ P€OPL€ PRODUCTIONS ~ UK Born 7th May 1967 & raised on the streets of Hackney East london, was a BMX freestyler & a music maniac... Which he studdied more than at Hackney Downs & Hackney Free Schools, which was where he was ment to be a pupil..... 1981 saw the first Technics 1200 Turntables to come his way trainng himself at first as a Cut & Scratch DJ Mixing it up with Subject 13, DJ Pogo & DJ Ron, Londons top Underground freestylers..... In 1984 he started playing at many small parties & locations in and around his East London neighbourhood with a small Sound System he founded with other DJ friends using the alias 'DJ Unkle' & with his first dj Partner Spoony, now of Radio 1 & Dreem Teem fame ..... In 1986 He started working at Mr Music Records in Dalston East London, which was widely regarded as being one of London's Top Music Stores, It was frequently visited by the then uprising stars of today including Trevor 'Madhatter' Nelson, Frankie Foncett, Frankie Valentine, Richie Fingers, & dj Spoony..... This is where the DJ name Mr Music' Originated from..... Progressing through the Jazz Funk & Electro Eras, The Acid House Days of 1988 Saw Mr Music make his club debut at the Dugout, One of East London's first 'Acid' House Parties..... The Summers of 1989 - 92 saw 'Mr Music' working with some of the original Big Rave organisations like Phantasy, Humanity, Energy, Biology, Telepathy, Freedom..... In 1991 a move to Wax Records, also situated in in Dalston East London, earned him the DJ name 'Waxman', It was here that he was servicing most of London's top "Jungle / drum & Bass" DJ's when the Breakbeat Revolution was breaking out in its first Dimensions, getting Wax Records Internationally Known for the service in bringing the best in modern underground sound..... Wax was highly rated by dj´s such as Fabio, Grooverider, Frankie Valentine, Kenny Ken, DJ Rap..... A move in 1992 to a small indie Label called Warrior Records, gave him the Opportunity to get more involved with the production and marketing side of the Music industry. It was here that he made his first test productions under the name DSP, and a remix of 'Feelin' Fine' by the Urban Rhythm Project..... In 1993 he teamed up with Frankie Valentine, Simon Lovejoy & Robert Barret, to form Kooky Groove Records which was soon regarded as one of London's Premiere independent record labels, Releasing tracks featuring Richard Anthony Davis, Bootsy Collins & The Tokyo Offshore Project..... 1995 saw him Solely concentrate on his now extremly busy DJ scedule working throughout Europe, Spinning at many of the famous clubs throughout Germany & Switzerland..... In 1997 he met Andreas Köhler & formed 'The Livfe People' releasing over the next 3 years on their own 'Hand Drawn' Label Livfe Productions, their self penned & produced titles: Funk Free, Avont Garden, Kaffé Volanté, Bar Vantagé, $pani$h Fligh, Nu-Fonk & Aun Te Amo..... The Turn of the Millenium to the present day still sees The Dj's Dj travelling throughout europe thrilling the nightlfe with his NO SELL OUT approach in playing Soulfull House Music to Futuristic Techno, is for sure the Dj for the future & Beyond..
