| Evolution records was set up in January 1994 by hardcore producer, Scott Brown, who was sick of being ripped off after releasing records on various
'dodgy' labels. The label was an instant success with record licenses and bookings coming
in from all over the world after just 4 weeks!! Originally specialising in 'Bouncy Techno' the
label has stuck to it's roots and kept it's trademark 'happy' sound. The label has continued
to grow and mature over the years and is still the biggest hardcore label in Scotland. All
releases on this label are still produced by Scott Brown himself!
