What we're gonna do right here is go back, way back, back into time.
When the only person that existed was Jack, and Jack had a groove.
And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And one day at home,
listening to his stereo, Jack boldy declared, "Let there be Funk AND let there be House!".

And Funkasm was born. At Funkasm we start the night with the best rare,
original funk from the 60s and 70s. As the night rolls on and the dancefloor heats
up we step things up with only the grooviest, most pumping fresh funky
house beats. Selectors will be the unpronounceable DJ Phthor, the legendary
vinyl vulture R-Kiv and a range of guests each month. Based at the funkiest venue
in Islington, the ‘retro-stylish’ Anam bar, Funkasm has landed!
