“simply sensational… a hugely entertaining show”
The Advertiser (Adelaide)

From the 30’s to the 50’s, Marlene Dietrich was the ultimate symbol of “femme glamour” meets “femme fatale”. The extraordinary Caroline Nin uses song, spoken word and video to capture both sides of the Dietrich persona, set against the backdrop of her anti-Nazi campaign during World War II.

Her songs became the soundtrack to a world in turmoil, establishing new standards like Lili Marlene, The Boys In The Backroom and They Call Me Naughty Lola on both sides of the front line.

Nin draws on Dietrich’s life and music to paint a warm, three-dimensional portrait of a passionate and witty woman who became both icon and hero.
