Treat yourself and your loved one to a romantic Northern Italian fine dining experience this Valentine's Day with an elaborate degustation dinner hosted by Ormeggio at The Spit. Celebrate with that special someone in the style of a sumptuous five course dinner at one of Sydney's premier waterside dining destinations. The postcard views of The Spit waterway and Middle Harbour will set the scene for a dreamy evening of sublime Northern Italian dining, ideal for couples of all ages.
The specially designed five course Valentine's Day menu at Ormeggio encompasses some of Executive Chef Alessandro Pavoni’s most intricate dishes. After a glass of Prosecco and petuna ocean trout crudo with burrata cheese, avocado and cream of tomato, diners will be wowed by the wagyu beef bresaola with balsamic eshallots, beetroot and rocket. Closely followed by saffron gnocchi with cherry tomato, king prawns, zucchini; the experience is topped by an exquisite veal fillet wrapped in pancetta, truffle, sautéed mushroom and spinach. The decadent dessert finale is a "Barbajada" of chocolate and coffee.
Guests will be provided with Ormeggio's extensive wine list with passionate staff on hand to provide help in matching drinks with food.The cost of the five-course degustation menu for Valentine's’s Day is only $110 per person including a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival.
