The queerest of the queer - Poptastic Manchester is one of the best Poptastics, with a very strict gay and lesbian door policy, an awesome crowd of lovely gay men and a huge lesbian following.
For six years, Poptastic has been entertaining crowds with its two rooms of alternative sounds. Boogie in The Kitsch Bitch Lounge with the tackiest eighties school-disco hits and current cheesy pop songs. Or mosh yourself black-and-blue to the top indie and big beat tunes in The Indie Playground. And, as always, if you don't hear what you want to hear, fill out a song request form! Combine that with cheap drinks, top totty and the original ShagTag, the tackiest copping tool ever (so effective it gets copied in clubs and universities around the UK) you know that you're up for a good night out.
