The inaugural Gangsters’ Ball 2008 was an amazing success! Held at the Gaelic Theatre in Sydney, selling out 700 tickets some 4 weeks in advance with over 200 people queuing at the door for up to 3 hours to purchase the remaining 50 tickets… It was widely regarded by those who attended as “the best event of its type ever held in Sydney” and voted by the Drum Media as the “best Swing/Rockabilly Event of 2008”.
The Gangsters’ Ball 2009 will be the biggest Swing Dancing, Burlesque & Cabaret event Australia has ever seen travelling this year to Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

Live Band: The Velvet Set 10-piece Swing Band (Sydney). Australia’s most dynamic swing band, the Velvet Set will light up the stage with 3 sets of the best classic and neo-swing to keep the dance floor jumping and jiving all night long!
