We welcome you to Out of the Ordinary 2009 which will be taking place in on 18 - 20 September near Eastbourne. It is the only family friendly festival in the South East that celebrates the equinox sunrise with quality live music, performances and workshops.
With entertainment from psychedelic trance act Eat Static and electro punksters Subsource, the festival also provides a showcase of live musical talent from musicians in the south east including Brighton legends Kovak, The Drookit Dogs and King Porter Stomp.
The festival provides a family friendly environment where people of all ages can learn and share knowledge with workshops on alternative lifestyles, and enjoy inspirational talks from speakers including Prof. Gordon Hillman (Ray Mears Show, BBC).
Out of the Ordinary 2009 is the most sustainable year yet being powered by solar and wind energy and promoting services and goods from local ethical companies. It provides eco friendly camping facilities such as compost toilets that are made locally by a team of carpenters and showers that are heated by solar power. The festival operates a zero waste policy providing recycling stations and ensuring that no harmful chemicals are used in the bars and cafes on site.
