The Canberra Blues Society Inc is a not-for-profit organisation of like-minded individuals who are passionate about the art of traditional and contemporary blues music. Our aim is to support family-friendly venues throughout the Canberra region that nurture and support local amateur and professional blues musicians. We seek to establish an environment that will both educate and showcase blues music, blues music culture and the blues spirit to the wider community. We have established a regular meeting place for people to become involved with others with similar musical interests.The Canberra Blues Society Monthly Blues Jams are held on the third Sunday of the month, and everyone is most welcome to bring along their instrument and or their voice and jam with some of the best blues musicians in Canberra, or just come along to listen and enjoy some great music, and friendly atmosphere.
The CBS features a different host band every month.
